Are you right for Darius?

Dashing Darius is a sweet, calm boy aged around 4–5 years who is looking for a loving family to call his own. As an ex-racer, he has a natural prey drive and will need to remain on lead in public, so a home with access to private outdoor space would be very beneficial for him to stretch his legs safely. Darius has a medium energy level and would love a family that can take him on enjoyable adventures before returning home for what he does best—curling up in a comfy bed for a well-earned snooze. He is friendly when meeting new people and can be left for a few hours once he has settled into his new surroundings and the routine of home life.

Is Darius right for you?

Darius is a confident and excitable boy when meeting other dogs and could potentially live with another calm sighthound (a female would need to be neutered). Due to his racing background and prey drive, he cannot live with cats, small furries, or small dogs. He could live with children aged 8+ who understand to give him space when he chooses to take himself away for some quiet time. In the right home, Darius will be a wonderful companion—an affectionate, easy-going lad who will happily join you on outings and then settle down for plenty of relaxing time with his family.
