Are you right for Cindy?

Cindy is an eight-year-old Greyhound with a gentle soul and a heart full of quiet affection. She would thrive in a peaceful home, ideally in a smaller residential or rural area where traffic is light and the pace of life is calm. With her lower exercise needs, Cindy doesn’t require long daily walks, but she would benefit from having her own secure garden to potter in and enjoy on days when she’d rather stay close to home. She is able to enjoy parallel walks with other dogs when out and about and could live with sensible primary school-aged children who understand that sometimes she needs her own space. She isn’t fully housetrained just yet and will need a consistent, patient routine to help her settle into home life, and her exercise will need to be built up gradually, potentially supported by regular physiotherapy. With gentle guidance and a steady rhythm to her days, she is sure to blossom in the right home.

Is Cindy right for you?

At heart, lovely Cindy is a soft, loving girl. She adores gentle affection, pressing into you for fuss and soaking up every chin scratch. She has beautiful manners, taking her treats ever so carefully and enjoying her meals with quiet enthusiasm. Though she’ll show a burst of excitement for a squeaky toy or a ball, her favourite pastime is relaxing close by with a chew and enjoying the calm around her. Cindy greets people with warmth and quiet confidence, her wagging tail and relaxed manner making everyone feel welcome. She isn’t looking for a fast-paced lifestyle, just kindness, reassurance and companionship - and in return she can offer the sweetest company.
