Are you right for Percy?

A friendly-natured sweetheart with a lot of love to give– meet Percy! He’s eager to find a patient family, who could support him with some confidence building, as well as basic training. This includes this includes road walking and getting into a car, as he is worried by traffic. A secure garden of his own is needed, as this should help him to get into a toileting routine, but it would also be beneficial as he may need to build up confidence in certain areas before going out for walks. Percy could possibly live with a well-suited dog who matches his stature and docile character (ideally another Greyhound) so long as they aren’t interested in toys, as Percy isn’t keen on sharing! He could also live with secondary-school aged children, who could be gentle around him and ensure sensible practices around toys.

Is Percy right for you?

Despite being four years old, Percy hasn’t yet experienced all the wonderful ways of dog-life due to being an ex-racing Greyhound. Because of this, it may take him a little while to adjust to a home environment but we’re certain that once he finally gets to experience the comforts he deserves, he’ll appreciate every moment! Once Percy settles in, he is bound to make for a wonderful companion who will likely enjoy quiet afternoons chilling on the sofa, solo playtime in the garden, and lapping up plenty of fuss and attention from his humans.
