Are you right for Lilo?

Lilo is a retired racer who is on the lookout for a change of pace. She has been friendly here but can find formal handling a little worrying and can startle. For this reason she’s looking for a home without young children. Teenagers would be fine though, as would younger visitors once she’s settled. Lilo could potentially live with another dog. She prefers the company of other sighthounds or larger breeds. If matched to live with another dog we would do mixes in centre before adoption to ensure that they get on well. She does have a chase drive so is not suitable to live with cats. She is currently out in a foster home.

Is Lilo right for you?

Lilo is 3yrs old and after her racing career came to an early end she came to us to find a loving home. She’s a sweetheart who can be a little all over the place but loves nothing more than walks with her favourite people. As she likely hasn’t lived in a home before she’d appreciate an introduction to the basics, including being left. However she does settle nicely in her kennel so there’s every chance she’ll love a bit of peace and quiet to herself! Lilo tries super hard to be housetrained in kennels so we’re sure it won’t take long before it’s perfected in a home. She also happily jumps into a car which is a good sign that she might enjoy trips out and about for adventures further afield.
