Are you right for Lyra?

Lyra is a beautiful almost 4 year old German Shepherd. She has spent a short time in a home where she was housetrained but may need a little refresher as she settles back into home life. Lyra is a sweet girlie but isn't quite as confident as she seems. She can find meeting new people a bit overwhelming and therefore would do best in a home with minimal visitors and children of 16+ who can understand her worries. It would be ideal if Lyra had a safe space in her new home such as a crate or another room where she can safely relax without any pressure to interact. Lyra has been content being left for up to 6 hours, however this may need gradually building up as she settles in to her forever home. Lyra's favourite thing in the world is food and she always tries her best when some tasty snacks are on offer. Lyra can find busy places a bit overwhelming at times and much prefers peaceful walking spots where she can explore the great outdoors. She will need to be the only pet in her new home and her new family will need to feel confident continuing her socialisation. Lyra will need to wear a muzzle out on her walkies and our team here at the centre will happily take you through everything Lyra is learning!

Is Lyra right for you?

Lyra is a wonderful girl who loves her trusted people. It's important she has access to her own safe and secure garden where she can zoom, play and explore without any worries of the outside world. She loves anything food based so snuffle mats, kongs and dig boxes are a huge hit!
