Are you right for Jadis?

Jadis is on the search for her forever home with adopters who will be happy to carry on her training and help her settle into home life. Due to Jadis’ unsettled start in life, she requires a specific home with adopters who have the time to continue her basic training, socialisation, and exposure to life. She can be worried in new situations and will take some time to adjust and feel more comfortable. Jadis is very loving and would like her adopters to be home for most of the time until she has settled. Leaving hours will be able to build up slowly over time. She is looking for adopters who are enthusiastic about positive reinforcement training methods and using rewards for good behaviour. Jadis is very intelligent and loves being involved in training/activities with her handlers, so she would love having opportunities throughout the day to use her nose and brain more! As Jadis can be mouthy, she would be best suited to a home with children 14+ that can understand when she is uncomfortable and give her space when needed. Initially, her home will need to have minimal visitors, so she can settle into her new environment. She is looking for a home with a private and secure garden she can enjoy when she's not out on walks. Jadis's forever home will need to be in a quieter location, away from busy main roads.

Is Jadis right for you?

Jadis is a very cuddly dog; she loves to be on her handler's lap and receive all the attention she can get! She is a big foodie and extremely intelligent, often engaging in scent games and finding her way around the compound using her nose. Jadis has learnt 'sit' whilst at the centre and is beginning to learn 'down' too! Jadis will play with toys with a handler and enjoys chasing after balls. She loves enrichment activities such as free work and find it games that encourage her to use her brain and nose to find food! If you are looking for a dog that requires ongoing training, is very intelligent and loving, Jadis could be your paw-fect match!
