Are you right for Luna Mae?

Beautiful Luna Mae is a stunning 1-year-old German Shepherd who is currently thriving in a foster home. She’s settling into home life wonderfully and showing us every day just how special she is. Luna Mae is incredibly intelligent and loves learning new things, so she’s looking for an active home that can channel her energy and sharp mind in a positive way. She is mostly housetrained in her foster home but prefers having someone with her in the garden when she goes out. She’s only been left alone for short periods so far, though we think this could be gradually increased as she becomes comfortable in her forever home. Luna Mae is always ready for an adventure and she hops happily into the car and travels well. She’s a friendly, social girl who enjoys making friends with both humans and other dogs, so she could potentially share her new home with another canine companion after a successful introduction at the centre. As a young and occasionally boisterous pup, we feel she would be best suited to a home with confident children aged 6+ who are comfortable around big, bouncy dogs. Luna Mae also has previous experience living with cats, so we believe she could do so again, provided introductions are taken slowly and both pets have safe spaces to retreat to.

Is Luna Mae right for you?

Luna Mae is a truly wonderful girl with so much love and energy. She will make an amazing companion for someone looking for an active and intelligent companion. She would thrive having an activity to put her energy into such as agility, cani-cross or hiking and with her clever brains and love of food she makes training a breeze!

When we find a match, we’ll invite you to meet them

If we’ve found a dog who seems right for you, we’ll invite you to come and meet them at the rehoming centre.

If we haven’t found the right match, we’ll continue the search together

If we haven’t found the right dog for you within three months, we’ll let you know your application is closed. We’ll invite you to apply again so we have up-to-date information about you, and we’ll keep looking.
