Are you right for Buck?

If you love dogs with big personalities, Buck will steal your heart! He’s a big sweetheart who brings laughter and joy to the staff at the centre, and we know he will do the same in his future home! Buck is a handsome 5-year-old German Shepherd cross who is looking for a home where he can be the only pet as he would love to be the life at the party. Buck is a total delight to be around, but to become his best buddy, you’ll need to meet him multiple times to build a strong and trusting bond. Once you’ve earned his trust, you’ll have a loyal friend for life. Buck requires an adult only home, and a nice quiet area to go when visitors come, which he can find a bit overwhelming. Buck would adore a home where he can feel safe, cherished, and completely part of the family. He’s a lovable, goofy sweetheart with a heart full of affection, and he has a knack for bringing smiles (and laughter!) to everyone around him. Buck would be happiest as the only pet, so he can soak up every cuddle, scratch, and bit of attention all for himself. He may take a little time to fully warm up, but with patience and a few gentle visits, he’ll reveal his loyal, loving, and delightfully silly personality — a true companion who will stand by your side through all of life’s adventures.

Is Buck right for you?

Anyone with a good sense of humour will instantly fall in love with Buck’s cheeky antics and playful personality. This silly sausage is always ready for a grand adventure, whether it’s exploring the outdoors, playing an energetic game of fetch, chasing his favourite squeaky toy, or simply rolling around with a beloved plushie. One of his most charming little quirks? Buck knows the daily routine like the back of his paw! You’ll often find him waiting patiently at mealtimes, eyes sparkling with excitement for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. His love of food also makes him a superstar in training — the perfect way to bond, have fun, and watch him proudly master new tricks. If you’re looking for a devoted, hilarious, and endlessly loving companion, Buck could be the perfect missing piece to your home — a fluffy, tail-wagging friend who will fill your days with joy, laughter, and unconditional love.
