Are you right for Storm?

Storm is a gorgeous 5-year-old Frenchie cross with a heart of gold and a real talent for making herself right at home. She’s very friendly, relaxed and affectionate, and absolutely loves cuddling up with her people. She’s also easy to handle: Storm waits patiently for her harness, enjoys being picked up, and is generally a calm, placid girl. Out and about, Storm has been a good wee companion. She did brilliantly on a pub visit, staying quiet with people and dogs around and politely looking for attention without any fuss. She can have the odd little bark if she spots someone at a distance, but she settles quickly and is friendly once she’s had a moment to take things in. She really comes alive when she gets secure off-lead time in enclosed areas, where she can run about and have a proper sniff. At home, Storm is very settled and content. She’s happy sleeping on the sofa or in her bed. Like many dogs, she’ll benefit from a consistent routine and gentle guidance, especially around a couple of small management bits, like keeping her away from the compost heap in the garden (she thinks it’s a snack bar). She also travels well in the car, settling after a few minutes once she realises she’s not getting the front seat! Storm can live with primary school-aged children and could share her home with another friendly dog following sensible introductions. If you’re looking for a cuddly, easy-going companion who enjoys pottering about with you, having a little adventure, then snoozing like a champion, Storm could be your perfect girl. AWE licence number 13090 by West Lothian Council.
