Are you right for Wilma?

Wilma is looking for a calm and quiet home with minimal visitors to begin with, she is looking for a family who are home the majority of the time, and will give her all the love and care she deserves, an active family who can take her on new adventures. She can live with mature secondary school aged children who can read when she is uncomfortable and give her space when she needs it. Wilma could live with a calm and relaxed dog pending successful meets at the centre. This is not a necessity, as she would be happy with friendly walking buddies. Wilma is a clever girl and has quite a bit of training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit”, “paw” and “touch, she is currently doing settle training with our team here at the centre. Typical to her breed she is eager to learn new things, especially if a fuss is on offer as a reward. She would like her own garden with with 6ft fencing to potter around in, but would be open to communal if adopters have time to take her on regular walks. Wilma can be very worried being left alone, so is looking for a family who is home the majority of the time to begin with and can keep her company and make her feel safe, with the potential to build up leaving after she has settled in. Wilma will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home with possible home visits to help her settle in, so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 – 10 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Is Wilma right for you?

Sweet girl Wilma is a 3 and a half year old Dutch Shepherd who is curious of the world and loves to be out on walks exploring and sniffing. She takes comfort from contact with her favourite humans and loves a fuss and a snuggle, she likes nothing more than sitting and chilling with you in the sun watching the world go by. Wilma is learning how to play with toys, she likes a flirt pole and will chase and bound around after it with lots of puppy energy. This wonderful girl is looking for a great new home.
