Rudy is a very affectionate boy and perfectly behaved in the house, but he doesn't enjoy kennel life. He finds it hard to relax with so many other dogs around him, but his carers are doing all they can to take his mind off things. He loves puzzle feeders but is a smart lad who figures them out very quickly! Rudy enjoys training and already knows a good sit, down and paw.
Type of home needed
Rudy is hoping to find a family who are willing to work with him to help him be a little more sociable and make his walks more enjoyable. He gets worried by strange dogs and will bark at them, but can be introduced slowly and properly to new friends. Lots of help advice is always available from the staff at the centre, particularly our Training & Behaviour Advisor. He is housetrained and will be more suited to a family with children over the age of 16.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
