Are you right for Rocco?

Rocco is a confident and excitable one-year-old who loves meeting new people and soaking up attention. He’s full of enthusiasm but his boisterous greetings and play can get him into trouble sometimes. He would thrive in a home where he can get some consistent approaches to his training. Rocco enjoys his walks but he is undersocialised with dogs and can be reactive and would need owners that can cope with this out and about and are willing to work with our training team on how to best manage this. Rocco will need to be the only pet in the home, where he can have all the love and focus to himself. Rocco will suit an active family that can provide adventures, fun and lots of love as well as daily physical exercise and mental stimulation.

Is Rocco right for you?

Rocco would suit an active household that can give him plenty of exercise, stimulation, and company. He has high energy levels and will enjoy both playtime and relaxing with his family once his needs are met. He has a couple of homes before and would probably suit a family that are experienced with the breed. He can live with children aged 16 plus who are confident around large, bouncy dogs. Rocco cannot be left alone at the moment, so his new family must be prepared to gradually build up his independence. A secure, private garden is essential for safe play and house training. With ongoing guidance and lots of love, Rocco will make a loyal, fun, and affectionate companion. Rocco is currently having hydrotherapy to help work on building body condition/muscle mass, any adopters will need to continue with his exercise plan at home and if live local to the centre we can continue with his hydrotherapy treatment.
