Are you right for Clyde?

Meet Clyde, our big, gentle giant with an even bigger heart! At just 1 year old, this lovable lad came into our care as a stray, so we don’t know much about his past. What we do know is that he’s an affectionate bundle of love who’s always ready for snuggles. Clyde’s favourite things? Searching pockets for hidden snacks and trying (often successfully) to squeeze himself onto his carers’ laps for all the attention he can get. Due to his friendly, affectionate nature makes we think he could live with children of any age, following a successful introduction at the centre. As he's still young, Clyde may need a bit of guidance when it comes to settling into home life. He’ll benefit from support with things like housetraining and loose lead walking. We also recommend gradually building up any time he’s left alone, making sure he has toys and enrichment to keep him busy. For now, Clyde will need to be the only dog in the home while we continue to assess his interactions with others. This may change as we get to know him better.

Is Clyde right for you?

This big beautiful boy is looking for an active and loving family with a big sofa to share! He loves people and has so much love to give. Clyde is a big lad and can be quite strong on the lead, especially when he finds the best sniffs, so will need owners who are confident to continue his training and are comfortable controlling him out and about on his walkies.
