Are you right for Cali?

Cali is a 2 and a half year old pocket bully looking for a caring but fun loving home. Cali can live with confident children aged 11 and over but cannot live with any other pets. She would benefit from calm walking buddies though to keep up with her socialisation skills as she can be vocal and a bit intense around other dogs. She travels well in the car and can pull on the lead when she gets excited. Cali isn't used to being left for long periods of time so this would need to be built up slowly. Cali would really like a private secure garden she can potter around in without any distractions, from people or other dogs. Cali has recently recovered from a surgery on her leg and was a superstar patient but sadly will need another operation on her other leg. Dogs Trust will financially support this operation so please don't be put off by this if you think she is the dog for you.

Is Cali right for you?

Cali is one of our foster dogs and her carers absolutely adore her! She is a bit of a couch potato and love a snuggle on the sofa. She does enjoy her walks too, but because she has had to be careful with her exercise after her op, she doesn't quite have the stamina for long walks yet. She has had a few house-training accidents so will need house training reminders in her new home. Cali is a friendly girl and will jump up to greet people. Cali needs owners that ideally live fairly local to the centre, so our physiotherapist can help support Cali after she has her surgery. We understand recovering a dog from an operation is not for the faint hearted, but Cali really has been incredible through her first operation and we would love her to be fully settled into her forever home before she has to go into hospital again. Please add Cali as a favourite dog on your application to be considered or pop into our centre for a chat with one of our team.
