Are you right for Joe?

Joe is a happy boy who is on the search for his new family. While we don't know if Joe has ever been around children before he'll be fine to live with children of around secondary school age. He would like to be the only dog in the home for now but he does enjoy meeting dogs and so this could change once we've done further assessments. Unfortunately Joe isn't able to live with cats. We suspect Joe might be at least partially deaf so will need owners that will work with this and learn different ways to communicate with him.

Is Joe right for you?

Joe is a super sweet Collie who is adjusting well to his change of circumstances. At only 2 years old he came into our care after his owner died. We don’t have much information about what he’s like in a home but he can be vocal when left in our paddocks for a short time. Therefore a family who can be around all the time to begin with would be just what he’s looking for. Left alone time can then be built up. However he’s happy enough in the car so could join his family on trips out and about instead. Joe has really tried to remain housetrained while in our care so should pick this up again quickly in a home.
