Are you right for Jack?

Jack is a lovely boy looking for a calm, adult-only home (behaviour experience preferred) where he can truly relax and show off his goofy character! He needs owners who will respect his boundaries and give him space when he needs it. Jack isn’t the most confident with handling, but with respectful boundaries and patience, he blossoms — and you won’t be on your own. Our fantastic training team will be there to support you before and after adoption, cheering you both on every step of the way! Adult visitors, following a quick introduction, would be welcomed by Jack. He could also be left up to four hours once he has settled in. If you’re happy to spoil him with tennis balls, tasty treats, and plenty of love, you might be his perfect match!

Is Jack right for you?

Jack is a goofy, affectionate boy who loves sniffy walks and exploring the world around him. He doesn’t need high exercise levels, but he enjoys a steady-paced stroll and can be strong on the lead. He’s good in the car and can have calm, respectful doggy walking friends. Jack loves fuss and attention from people he knows, but he can be worried being handled by strangers and benefits from gentle introductions. He’s very worried at the vets and may need to be muzzled for restraint and invasive procedures. With patience and understanding, Jack will reward you with loyalty, love, and plenty of character!

When we find a match, we’ll invite you to meet them

If we’ve found a dog who seems right for you, we’ll invite you to come and meet them at the rehoming centre.

If we haven’t found the right match, we’ll continue the search together

If we haven’t found the right dog for you within three months, we’ll let you know your application is closed. We’ll invite you to apply again so we have up-to-date information about you, and we’ll keep looking.
