Are you right for Toby?

Toby can live with older teenagers and although he will walk and play with other dogs he will need to be only pet as he is so boisterous. He isn't fully house trained and will need someone at home with him most of the day. Toby has mild hip dysplasia but does require daily pain relief. If the cost of this would be a barrier to you adopting Toby we would still like to hear from you as some financial assistance may be available.

Is Toby right for you?

We defy anyone not to be absolutely charmed by this big boy! Toby is so silly and affectionate and is guaranteed to brighten any day. He's a nosy lad who likes to know everything that's going on, and he wants to say hello to everything on two or four legs. Although he loves the company of other dogs, Toby is very OTT and boisterous, and that coupled with his sore hips might make for trouble. He's better suited to having some pals outside the home for supervised play, but being able to rest at inside when necessary. Toby hadn't had a lot of training or stimulation before returning to our care, so his best pal Danni is working on teaching him the basics and he really likes going for long off site walks with her. Toby is doing brilliantly with training and he has an excellent recall. He loves to play with toys so this would be a great way to bond with him.
