Are you right for Tammy?

Tammy is a sweet natured 2 year old Boxer who needs a calm and quiet home where she will be allowed time to adjust to her new surroundings and come out of her shell as she is very shy when meeting new people and in new places. A secure garden is of great benefit to Tammy as it gives her space to become familiar with new people and once relaxed she loves nothing more than running around the garden, especially with a tennis ball. Tammy is playful with other dogs she meets and could share her home with another dog pending successful meets. She could live in a home with dog savvy secondary school aged children and would rather not be left alone for too long as she pines when left during the day, at night time she settles in the utility room on her own, she is housetrained. Tammy has a medical condition which can be discussed with the staff at Ballymena.

Is Tammy right for you?

Tammy's foster carers have had her out for trips in the car which she thoroughly enjoys but she does need a helping hand to get in and out. Now that she has built up a relationship with her foster carers she thoroughly enjoys getting attention from them and they have described her as the most gentle dog that just wants to be with people and that she gives the best welcome home when she sees you again. You won't be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you are looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you've submitted your application, we can't change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.
