Are you right for Rosie?

Rosie is looking for an adult only home that has her own private secure garden to help her continue her housetraining. Rosie can be worried of new people until she has got to know them so will need a home that has minimal visitors and the ability to separate her if needed. Rosie does regularly walk with dogs and will disengage from them well and has successfully had a brief hello to a few four-legged friends but she can be picky about who she wants to be friends with and she would benefit from confidence building around other dogs, she will need to be the only dog in the home. Rosie cannot live with cats but could live with small pets if they are kept separate from her. Rosie will need to be kept on lead and wear her muzzle out and about and adopters would need to be comfortable muzzling her for the vets as she finds these visits worrying.

Is Rosie right for you?

Introducing Rosie (or fondly known as, Our Rosey Posey!), a larger than life 3-year-old- Boxer cross! Rosie is the full package; she has the brains and the beauty, whilst also being able to beat anyone in a game of tug-of-war! With her bouncy steps and larger-than-life personality, Rosie lights up every room or garden she enters. You can usually find her zooming around the compound chasing after her toys, having lots of fuss with her handlers or showing off her most recently learnt tricks. Rosie is the ultimate hiking buddy, and we’ve started a Rosie Adventure Club here at Manchester where staff have been taking her out to new places to explore and she loves it! She loves any tasty treat she is given as well as her toys and is easily motivated by both. Once Rosie knows you, she becomes a big softie and is incredibly cuddly and affectionate with her favourite people.
