Are you right for Murphy?

Murphy is a gorgeous 3 year old Lhasa Apso/Bichon cross looking for his new best friend. He is a sweet and lovable boy who has struggled with the transition from a kennel environment to a home on a couple of different occasions now. This fantastic lad will need a very special, understanding home so that he doesn't get returned to kennels again. He loves to play and explore in the garden, always eager to be involved in any adventures! He is full of fun, and is looking to join an active person that will take him for long walks. Murphy is super smart, and has worked very hard on his training, which he will need to continue with his adopter. His new home will need to help him maintain his beautiful curly coat with regular grooming. Murphy would love someone home with him most of the day to help him settle in. Murphy is looking to be the only dog in the home so he can get all the attention, but he could potentially have some doggy walking buddies! He is also best suited to an adult only home who have had some experience owning dogs. Our Training Team will be more than happy to discuss the ins and outs of life with little Murphy, but an expectation for Murphy's home environment is a separate space (such as the kitchen or utility that is baby gated) so that Murphy cannot access the living room. He particularly struggles to settle in the living room, and our amazing Training Team have a training plan to help with this down the line.

Is Murphy right for you?

Murphy is a true adventurer and can't wait for all of the memories he will make with his adopter! He travels well in a covered crate in the car so that more exciting locations can be discovered. He is happiest when exploring somewhere new with lots of interesting smells, and he absolutely loves showing off how fantastic he is at figuring out enrichment puzzles! If you think you have all of the patience, understanding, dedication, and most importantly love to offer Murphy, then please submit an application and don't forget to include him as a 'Favourite' dog!
