Are you right for Ginkgo?

Meet Gingko, a 4-year-old Beagle x Retriever cross, who is looking for an active home that can take him out on new adventures as he loves to be out walking and exploring. Gingko would love adopters who can continue with his training and provide him with plenty of games/enrichment to keep his mind active, as he is a very clever boy! He could live with older secondary children aged 14+ and have visiting children 12+ who will respect his space when he has higher-value items. Gingko would prefer to have a garden to sunbathe in and give him space to continue training and exercising; however, it is not essential as long as he has good activities in the day and can be taken out for regular toilet walks. He could have his leave hours gradually built up to 5 hours as long as it is not every day. Gingko has the potential to live with a well-matched dog who has a calm temperament. He does prefer female dogs, but there will be dog meets to make sure they will be a good match! He could also live with a dog-savvy cat, pending a scent swap.

Is Ginkgo right for you?

Gingko is a sweet, incredibly affectionate boy who loves attention and cuddles from his people; should they stop, he will soon nudge them to let them know he isn’t finished! He is very smart and is keen to go out with his nose to the ground and explore lots of different places. He loves his toys (not that they stay in one piece for very long) and is keen for a game of tuggy or fetch (minus the bringing it back part). He loves to be a part of the family and involved in whatever they may be doing, so he would love to join his future family on their adventures! If you are looking for a cuddly and clever boy, Gingko could be your pawfect match!
