Gorgeous George hopes to find the 'pawfect' home

Dogs Trust West Calder is on the lookout for a forever home for its very own ‘supaw-star’ George, a Basset Hound Labrador cross, who they hope can become the top dog in your home.

George is a cheeky, cheerful chap that the centre have come to know and love, especially if you are willing to give him lots of attention and indulge in a regular game of fetch!

Susan Tonner, Rehoming Centre Manager says:

“In the right home, with sensitive and understanding owners lovely George will be the ‘pawfect’ addition. Just like other dogs he loves human company, doggy days out to the beach and anywhere he can get his nose to the ground to sniff out a new adventure! Given his character, George needs to find a home where he feels safe, and Dogs Trust West Calder will be able to give his new family lots of hints, tips and advice on making sure George is a happy chappie in his new home.”

George is house-trained and doesn’t mind being left for a few hours to catch up on his sleep. Although, he would need to be the only dog in the home, George doesn’t mind meeting new canine companions on his walks.

George will need an adult only home, with owners who can help him continue to work on building up his trust.

If you can offer George a second chance at happiness, please contact Dogs Trust West Calder on 0300 303 0292.
