Dogs Trust

UPDATE: Our rehoming centres are closed until further notice, however we are now able to rehome a small number of our amazing dogs. Each dog’s profile will let you know if they are looking for a new home. For the time-being, we are unable to register your interest for dogs who are not yet available for rehoming.

The race is on to help Marion find her forever home!

Meet Gorgeous Greyhound Marion

Meet Marion! This gorgeous Greyhound is super sweet and friendly and she just loves to meet new people and say hello!

Marion is three-years-old and has retired from racing. She is currently enjoying all her home comforts with one of Dogs Trust West Calder's foster families.

Marion has been loving her time in her foster home and has settled well into a routine – she enjoys playing a game of fetch in the garden, loves snoozing away in her beanbag and she hops into the car each day to go on the school run.

The circumstances for Marion’s foster family have now changed and it is hoped that Marion will find her forever home before the end of April otherwise she will be returning to West Calder’s Rehoming Centre. As a lady of luxury and a total people pooch, Marion would be much happier living in a cosy and comfortable home where she can be surrounded by her family.

A complete joy to be around, Marion would make a wonderful addition to a family. She is really gentle, well behaved and perfectly suited to living with children aged around eight years old and above. When out for a walk Marion is very polite and friendly and she is completely happy and relaxed when walking on her lead and muzzle. Marion does prefer to walk in quiet areas away from other dogs.

For her dream forever home Marion is looking for:

  • A garden where she can run and play
  • To be the only pet in the house
  • A nice comfy bed or beanbag!
  • An active family who like to take her on regular walks or for trips in the car
  • Plenty of love, affection and cuddles

If you think you could provide this happy girl with her perfect home please call the West Calder team on 01506 873459 to find out more about her. Marion would love nothing more than to become a much loved member of her very own family.
