The most eagerly-anticipated event of the year is approaching as the countdown to Dogs Trust Loughborough’s annual Fun Day gets under way. On Sunday 26th July between 11am – 4pm at Turnpost Farm past and current residents from the Wymeswold-based rehoming centre will be turning out to raise much needed pounds for homeless hounds.
With a Fun Dog show which includes 24 different classes covering everything from Best Veteran to Waggiest Tails and not forgetting Best in Show, there is a chance for every one of our four-legged friends to come away with their own rosette! Additional activities include numerous dog displays and agility challenges, free microchipping and plenty of stalls to delight the shoppers and foodies amongst the visitors.
Says Ella Tonge, Dogs Trust Loughborough Supporter Relations Officer:
“We’re so excited that the time has come for our Fun Day and we can’t wait to see lots of familiar faces, both two and four legged. There will be something for everyone and we hope that many will see this as a great family day out. What better advantage to having a day with the family than raising much needed pounds for homeless hounds. Last year we raised over £16,500 so lets hope we can beat that this year.”
Entry is £2 per adult, £1 for children and four-legged friends and parking go free.
