Covid-19 update: our rehoming centres aren’t open for public browsing, but we’re still rehoming and taking in dogs, with measures in place to keep staff and adopters safe. Find out more about how national Covid-19 restrictions are affecting our rehoming procedures and other activity.

Could you live in sweet harmony with Maestro?

Maestro is a five-year-old Greyhound currently at Dogs Trust Loughborough who is looking to be the perfect accompaniment to a dog-loving family.

He has a fantastic zest for life and is a joy to be around. He loves nothing more than spending time with his two-legged friends and gets very excited when he knows it’s time to head out for a walk or a quick run around.

He has left his racing days far behind him and is looking forward to a future filled with love, fun and relaxing afternoons snoozing on a comfy bed. He can live with children aged 15 and over but would like to be the only pet in the home.

As he isn’t used to the joys of home life his new owners will need to help him settle in – which the team at Dogs Trust Loughborough are convinced won’t take long! – and he’ll need help to be housetrained.

If you think you could be the forever family Maestro is looking for, please call 01509 273349.

Our rehoming centres are not open for public browsing but you can still make an appointment to adopt or bring a dog to us. We’ve set up new processes which include social distancing measures to help keep staff and our visitors safe.

Dogs Trust estimates that up to 40,000 more dogs could be at risk of abandonment in the fallout of the coronavirus crisis. If you would like to help change the course of events and help us continue to be there for more dogs and their owners when they need us, please give what you can by visiting
