Dogs Trust Loughborough thank their volunteers!

The centre celebrates the contributions of all their volunteers

This week is Volunteers’ Week which provided Dogs Trust Loughborough with an excellent opportunity to celebrate the contributions our volunteers have made over the last year.

Dogs Trust Loughborough decided to invite our volunteers to a group dog walk followed by tea, cakes and a thank you presentation at Rushcliffe Country Park yesterday.

Volunteers including foster carers, canine assistants, event volunteers, dog school and dog walkers came along with their own dogs and had a lovely stroll in the sun with several members of staff from the Loughborough Rehoming Centre and Jack Johnson, the centre's Regional Manager, joining them.

Ria Martin, Volunteer Coordinator at Dogs Trust Loughborough, says:

“I would like to say a massive thank you to all of our volunteers, your hard work and dedication to the dogs is very much appreciated and without you all we wouldn’t be able to do as much as we are doing at present”

We are currently looking for Event, Meet and Greet, Canine Assistant and Gardening volunteers so if you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please check our website for further information.
