Flynn's on cloud nine

Two-year-old Border Collie Flynn went on a sleepover

Flynn the Border Collie at a sleepover

Resident pooch Flynn is a two-year-old Border Collie at Dogs Trust Loughborough with a huge love for people and affection.

He arrived with us last month and spends a lot of time with our office staff at Dogs Trust Loughborough throughout the day to give him a rest from kennel life. Due to his loving nature towards people, Flynn has found himself with an abundance of friends. In particular Canine Carer Tamsin who recently took Flynn home for a sleepover at her home! We caught up with Tamsin and she reported back to us on how much Flynn enjoyed his sleepover.

Tamsin said:

"Flynn was amazing, he sniffed around and explored the house and then was really chilled and relaxed. He enjoyed resting on a large cushion tucked away in the corner."

Flynn has lived in a home environment before and it seems he’s ready to slip straight back into these surroundings.  Flynn struggles with traffic, it makes him nervous so he’s looking for a home away from busy roads and a garden for him to enjoy whilst his new adopters take it slow and help him build up his confidence. Despite this he did travel well in the car.

He’s looking for an adult only home and despite being happy to socialise with other dogs we think Flynn would benefit more from being the only pet in the home. Flynn loves to be loved and we’re crossing all paws that he finds his perfect home soon.
