Are you right for Lassie Longlegs?

Lassie is a gorgeous 10-year-old Lurcher who is as calm and contented as they come. If you are looking for a laid-back companion who is just happy to be near her people, Lassie could be the girl for you. She spends most of her time snoozing in her bed or stretched out on the sofa, but do not let that fool you - when the walk word comes out, she is up and ready to go! She loves nothing more than a good sniff around grassy parks and fields, taking in every scent along the way. Lassie is wonderfully easy to live with. She is happy to be handled all over with no fuss, already knows a few cues including sit, paw, and bed, and is an obedient girl who is a pleasure to have around the house. She loves attention and will make it known when she is happy to see you - that tail rarely stops wagging! Out on walks, Lassie is a confident and steady girl who walks beautifully on a loose lead. She is happiest exploring grassy areas where she can stop and sniff to her heart's content. She has been making great progress around other dogs and has enjoyed some lovely, friendly meetings out and about. She will thrive with an experienced owner who can walk her with confidence and continue building on this good work. Lassie is looking for a home where she can be the only pet, and would suit a household with secondary aged children. A secure garden of her own would be ideal for pottering and enjoying the fresh air at her own pace. Her foster carer says she is an absolute pleasure to have around - chilled out and contented in the house, happy to snooze the day away, but always up for her walks and loves a good fuss from her favourite people. If you are looking for a gentle, undemanding older girl who will fit quietly and happily into your life, Lassie might just be your perfect match. AWE licence number 13090 by West Lothian Council.
