Are you right for Charlie?

Cheeky chap Charlie is an 11 year old Terrier Cross whose personality shines through once he has gotten to know you. He is a foodie boy and loves a treat, once he knows you have treats for him he will poke around in your pockets for more. He has to be in the mood to play, but when he does he will chase around after a toy or ball thrown for him. His favourite pastime is climbing up on your lap for a good neck scratch and a snuggle. This top gent is ready to find his new home.

Is Charlie right for you?

Charlie is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help him settle in and give him all the love and attention he deserves. He could live with older secondary school children who will play nicely with him and give him space to rest when he needs. Charlie would like the be the only pet in the home as he likes all of the attention and food to himself, although he would be happy with polite and friendly walking buddies. He has some training under his belt, he knows his name and does a lovely “sit” and “stay”, he can be enticed to engage in training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat. He would like a home with a private garden to have a potter around and play in at his leisure. Charlie can be worried being left, so is looking for a family that is home the majority of the time, any leaving time will need to be built up slowly after he has had time to settle into his new home. Charlie will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
