Dogs Trust

Dogs Trust West Calder are appealing to local dog lovers to help find a highbrow home for a very special pooch. Staff have named the four year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier after Roger Moore due to little Roger’s prominent eyebrow. The rehoming centre is hoping that his film star looks and affectionate nature will help him find his own Hollywood ending in the form of a loving new home.

Dogs Trust West Calder Manager Susan Tonner explains: “We take in hundreds of dogs of all shapes and sizes but I haven’t see one quite like Roger, his eyebrow makes him very distinctive. Just like his namesake he is a real gentleman who has lovely manners. He can be a little shy when he first meets people but once he knows you he is lots of fun, very loyal and gentle. He is an active chap who likes to go for long walks on a long lead so he can have a root around in the long grass and explore. A true showman he would prefer not to share the limelight so would like to be the only pet in the home to lap up all his owner’s attention. He is looking for a quiet adult home with owners who will take the time to help him settle in and become part of the family. He especially loves to show off and parade around with his toys. We really hope this little super star find the happy home he deserves.”
