This month it’s all about Alfie and Perry!

Jack Russell Terrier Alfie and Staffie Perry!

Throughout October the West Calder Rehoming Centre will be turning the spotlight onto another two dogs at the centre who are looking for a very special kind of home. This month the focus is on wee Jack Russell Terrier Alfie and super Staffie Perry!

Alfie is an independent boy who enjoys spending time with his family but he needs his own bit of space where he can relax and be himself. Perry adores being surrounded by his family and is looking for a home filled with love and where he can enjoy his time away from too many other dogs.

Both Alfie and Perry are full of fun with a lot of love to give their future owners. But like many great stars, these doggos have their own particular requirements and wishes for their future homes!

The West Calder team hope that bringing these two pooches into the spotlight this month will help them to find their very own special someone.

Alfie is an 8 year old Jack Russell Terrier who enjoys nothing more than to head out on his walks where he can explore the world! Alfie would love to have a garden of his own where he can play a game of fetch with his favourite ball and spend a lazy afternoon snoozing in the sunshine! This happy chap will never say no to a tasty treat or two! While Alfie does enjoy being in the company of his family, he is a sensitive boy who is uncomfortable with too much handling. He is looking for an adult only home and needs patient and understanding owners who can build up a trusting and loving bond with him.

Perry is a 6 year old Staffie cross who is at his happiest when he is surrounded by his loved ones! Perry is a really friendly boy who loves to say hello to everyone he meets and get as many cuddles as he can! Perry is an active boy who loves setting off for adventurous walks in the countryside and running around the garden with his toys! After all this exercise, Perry enjoys sitting by the window watching the world go by. Perry’s new owners will need to have experience with similar breeds and be home throughout the day to keep him company and provide lots of love and attention. Perry can be uncomfortable around other dogs and so he would like to be the only pet at home.

The month long focus on Alfie and Perry will culminate in the latest Spotlight Sunday which takes place at the West Calder Rehoming Centre on Sunday 3rd November from 12pm to 4pm. Spotlight Sunday offers the pawfect opportunity to find out everything you can about Alfie and Perry and see if you can offer them a forever home!
