Dogs Trust Snetterton fun day raises seven thousand pounds for homeless hounds

Staff at Dogs Trust Snetterton are basking in the success of their Fun Day on Sunday 7th June, which raised over £7,000 for homeless hounds at the Rehoming Centre.

Over 2,000 visitors attended the day and staff are describing it as their most successful fun day in four years.

Dogs Trust Snetterton Supporter Relations Officer, Kate Brewster said:

"All of us at Dogs Trust Snetterton are delighted that the Fun Day was such a success. We raised a fantastic amount of money, and all of it goes towards the care of the abandoned, stray and unwanted dogs at the Rehoming Centre."

Kate continues:

"It was a great day for all, we had superb weather and all of our visitors got the chance to meet and greet out four legged friends and enter their own dogs in our Dog Show. Categories included; Best Biscuit Catcher, Waggiest Tail, Best Oldie and Handsomest Dog."

"Other highlights from the day included a spectacular display by The A Team, Have-A-Go-Agility, delicious homemade cakes, and a performance from local singer/songwriter Matt Watson."

All of the staff and homeless hounds at Dogs Trust Snetterton would like to thank everyone who attended and gave such generous donations.
