Goldendoodle puppy reunion walk

Four Goldendoodle siblings and their mother happily reunited at Snetterton, for the first time since leaving the centre.

All of the Golden Doodle siblings including their Mother, taking a lovely picture with their owners in the Snetterton reception area.

Nelly, Lily, Heidi, and Herbie were born at our Snetterton rehoming centre, to mum Honey, in January 2022 and were looked after by the dedicated team, until they were ready to head off to their new homes in March 2022.

Here at Snetterton, we wanted to reconnect all the siblings, and with the help of our Support Relations Officers, we were able to contact all the new owners. We arranged a reunion our centre where they went on a large group walk, a lunch with lots of human and doggy snacks, and an off-lead run around together.

Lisbeth Anderson, Herbie’s owner, said:

“We had thought about adding another dog to the family and adopting Herbie has brought us so much joy. He is such a sweet boy who loves people and other dogs, and he especially loves having as many cuddles as possible!

We regularly meet up with his sister Nelly, but we were so excited when we got to meet up with the rest of his siblings and his mum. It had just been their ‘Gotcha Day’, so it was the perfect opportunity to celebrate! They were all very well behaved and they even got to have a run around off lead together which they all loved.”

Kelly Smith, Manager at Snetterton said:

“It was heart-warming to see these adorable siblings all together again, especially on their one-year going-home anniversary! We had the joy of taking care of them last year and it is lovely to find out how they have been spending their time with their new families.

The team at the centre work hard all year-round taking care of many dogs and finding them their forever homes and seeing these young pups with their loving owners is what we are all working for.”

Could you open your heart?
