Could you show Hugh the world isn't so scary this Howl-o-ween?

Dogs Trust Snetterton is hoping that five-year-old Crossbreed Hugh will find his forever home in time for Hallowe’en.

Hugh is a loveable, bouncy boy who can take some time to trust new people but once he does, enjoys a gentle fuss. This clever chap loves his training, so a home that can continue with his training programme would be ideal for him.

Dogs Trust Snetterton’s Rehoming Centre Manager Diane McLelland-Taylor said:

“Hugh is a handsome boy who lacks confidence, but he has bags of potential and will make a loyal companion once settled. He just needs owners to help him come out of his shell and discover the world isn’t such a scary place. We really hope Hugh will get the ultimate treat this Halloween in the form of his special someone.”

Hugh will need experienced owners who will be able to dedicate time to continuing his training, he loves his walks and is good at traveling in the car. He’ll need a patient, calm home where he is the only dog and can be the centre of attention.

This lover of tennis balls and rope toys, adores a tasty treat and positive reward-based training will help him learn and gain your trust at the same time.  New owners will need to be willing to visit him a few times before taking him home so that he has time to start building a bond with you.

If you think you could be Hugh’s second chance at happiness please contact the rehoming centre on 0300 303 0292.
