Waggy Walk 2018

On Sunday 7th October we hosted our very first Waggy Walk at Whitlingham Country Park in Norwich, raising money for all the dogs here at Dogs Trust Snetterton. And what a lovely day it was! We lucked out with the weather, saw a host of ex Dogs Trust residents (including the lovely Robin and his family, above!) and best of all, had a wonderful walk around the picturesque countryside with our faithful companions.

I am sure you’re all wondering how we did! Well, I am pleased to report that we raised an epic £322.09!

A huge thanks to all our wonderful supporters and canine chums who participated, we hope that you had an enjoyable experience and will join us again in future years! Another thanks goes to the lovely team at Whitlingham for letting us host the walk on their gorgeous grounds. And lastly, but not leastly, to my amazing network of volunteers who helped me make sure the whole day was a stonking success. We are always on the lookout for more events volunteers, so if you are interested and would like to help our fundraising team please do contact me on the details below!

Lastly, I must mention Daisy T, who is the tan and white terrier pictured below. I decided to foster Daisy last week as she was having a tough time in kennels, and after only a week living with me at home I am very pleased to report that she went to her forever home today! It was certainly an emotional time for everyone involved. Good luck in your new home Daisy, we shall miss you.
