Happy Ever After

The story of the worried Beagle Boris

Four beagles came into our centre, they were worried and not sure how to be a dog. Boris was one of those Beagles and was quite nervous in this environment. For a while Boris was a bit overlooked. We decided to give him a boost on BBC radio Norfolk, we talk about two of our dogs every week on a Friday afternoon, listening in on that Friday were Mr and Mrs Palmer, liking the way he sounded they came to the centre shortly after to meet the lovely Boris.

It was like love at first sight. Already owning a beagle of their own, this was ideal for Boris, he needed a four legged friend. They got on really well, a great match. Seven weeks have past since the couple adopted Boris, now called Bentley, and he is doing great! He and his best friend Ossie go on walks, exploring and digging holes, and even swimming in the lake! Being typical Beagles basically! Bentley shares a sofa with Ossie and has settled right in. The family is very happy with the new addition and told me he’s come right out of his shell, walking with his tail held high and wagging it so hard that he could take off! We are so pleased to see he’s found his forever home and he’s doing really well!

We love being updated by successful rehoming stories and always get excited to see photo’s and video’s on how they are doing.

Thank you so much for letting us know how Boris aka Bentley is doing and we hope to see many more photo’s & video’s.
