Game, Set, Match at Dogs Trust Snetterton

Students with donations

Our dogs received a very generous surprise gift from UEA students on the weekend- which set lots of tails wagging!

Dogs Trust Snetterton received a very welcome visit from the University of East Anglia Tennis Club on Saturday 1 February.

Club members Alex, Jack and Ellie came to the centre and dropped off multiple tubs of old tennis balls that they no longer use- much to the delight of Cricket the Terrier Cross who went out to thank them in paw-son!

The UEA Tennis Club members then had a look around our rehoming centre and said hello to some of our four-legged residents including Pip the Siberian Husky, Star the Miniature Dachshund and Drake the English Bulldog.

We love meeting our supporters and showing them the work we do at Dogs Trust Snetterton and we are so grateful for the support that we receive from our community.

Emily Johnston, Assistant Manager Admin says:

‘Thank you so much to the UEA students for coming to see us and for donating all the tennis balls that make our dogs so happy.

Toys like tennis balls help to keep our dogs stimulated and are the favourite of many of our dogs, including Rex and Ruby- who love playing fetch. These new tennis balls will definitely get some use!’
