The Meet and Greet Reception Volunteer role:
We are currently recruiting for Meet and Greet Volunteers to support our reception team, by ensuring visitors receive a warm welcome and have a pleasant, enjoyable experience at our centre. If you have great communication and customer service skills, we’d love to welcome you to our team!
We have positions available for Meet and Greet Volunteers on any of our open days:
- Mondays 12-4pm
- Tuesdays 12-4pm
- Thursdays 12-4pm
- Saturdays 12-4pm
- Sundays 12-4pm.
We are looking for individuals who are able to commit at least one shift a week or per fortnight but the times are flexible within the operating hours of the centre.
Inductions for the role will take place in January.
Shift preferences can be discussed with the Volunteer Coordinator upon application.

- Email your completed application form to our Cardiff Volunteer Coordinator. Alternatively you can pop it into the letter box at our centre.
If you are under 18 please contact the centre you want to volunteer at first. Our standard age for volunteers at Dogs Trust is 18 but we are sometimes able to accommodate young people from 16. Please check before you apply.
