Redefining rehoming: expanding beyond kennels
You can help to grow rehoming beyond kennels and reach even more dogs in need.

With rehoming centres at capacity and waiting lists at an all-time high, we need new ways to help more dogs find their forever homes.
Since launching a decade ago, our fostering programme has rehomed over 15,000 dogs thanks to our incredible network of foster carers. But thousands more dogs still need our help.
To meet this demand, we need your help to invest in:
- growing our dedicated Foster hubs in Newbury, Bridgend, Ilfracombe and Dundee
- expanding our Homestay scheme, which enables us to rehome dogs while they remain in their owner’s care
- upskilling specialist staff to increase rehoming beyond kennels
- providing veterinary care for over 4,600 foster network dogs annually
- launching a national campaign to raise awareness and recruit foster carers.
You can help us expand beyond kennels to rehome 27% more dogs by 2027.
