Our memory wall is a special place to remember the love of a beloved companion.

Thank you for being there for us last year, now we're here for you.
Anniversaries often remind us of the happiness our dogs brought into our lives and the donation you made last year is a wonderful example of that. Your heartfelt tribute made a real difference and continues to reflect the love you shared.
In this update, you’ll find the support we offer and touching ways others have honoured their canine companion.
With your support we have:
and so much more!

This February, former Dogs Trust volunteer Georgia laced up her boots for 99k for Canines, taking on the challenge in loving memory of her dog, Barney.

99k for Canines invites supporters to walk 99km over the course of a month while raising vital funds for Dogs Trust. It’s easy to take part, but every step helps transform the lives of dogs who need our care.
When we asked Georgia why she decided to get involved, she shared:
“I’m taking part to help raise money for Dogs Trust and the work they do supporting and rehoming dogs across the UK. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and this felt like a simple but meaningful way to give something back.
My dog Barney passed away in June 2025, and being part of this challenge feels like a positive way to do something in his name while helping dogs who are still waiting for their forever homes.”

Georgia, Volunteer
Georgia’s journey is a beautiful reminder of how love for a dog can continue long after they’re gone and how that love can help other dogs find their second chance.
If, like Georgia, you’d like to honour your beloved canine companion by taking part in an event, we’d love to have you join us at one of our challenge events.
Bella, a one year old Cockerpoo, came into our care in August 2025 after her heartbroken owner faced eviction. Scared and overwhelmed, Bella struggled in kennels and couldn’t be safely examined by our vet due to her fear of handling.
To give her the best chance, she was placed with one of our experienced foster families, who have fostered more than 20 Snetterton dogs. They immediately fell for her gentle nature and spent months patiently muzzle training her to help build her confidence.

Their dedication paid off. After 5–6 months of steady progress, Bella was finally able to relax enough for a full veterinary assessment and received the all clear.
By then, her foster family already knew she belonged with them. They officially adopted Bella, and she’s now thriving in her forever home thanks to their incredible time, love, and patience.

If you’d like another way to honour your beloved companion, Sponsoring a Dog in their memory can be a meaningful tribute. Many supporters tell us it brings comfort to know their dog’s love continues to create brighter futures for others still waiting for a second chance.
If it feels right for you, this is a simple way for your dog’s legacy to live on. As our in memory sponsorship packs differ from our standard ones, please call 020 7837 0006 to place your order.
From all the dogs in our care, the communities we support, and everyone across Dogs Trust, thank you for choosing to honour those no longer with us. Your kindness helps transform dogs’ lives every single day.
