Dogs Trust, the UK’s largest dog welfare charity is putting the ‘it’ into charity shop with a flagship charity shop store in Brighton.
Our shop Team are on hand to help shoppers sniff out some up-to-the-minute fashion finds and vintage pieces. Customers will also have the opportunity to be styled by members of staff who will be sharing their favourite outfits on Instagram.
This exciting venture is a departure from the charity’s existing traditional shops across the country, and will act as a one-stop shopping destination for stylish Brighton shoppers and their fashionable four-legged friends – whether they’re Vogue-du Bordeaux, sophisticated Staffies or Dalmatian’s du jour. The shop is designed to show that second hand isn’t second best, when it comes to clothes or the thousands of abandoned and unwanted rescue dogs awaiting loving homes in the care of Dogs Trust.
With a variety of bespoke fixtures made from upcycled materials including chrome dog bowls transformed into unique light fittings, concrete flooring to help keep doggy customers cool, and a woodland design area made from natural materials, it’s set to be the most stylish second-hand shopping destination that Brighton has to offer. There are even hidden dog silhouettes dotted around the store for shoppers to spot as they search the rails for up-to-the-minute fashion and one-off vintage finds.
If you have any items you would like to donate to the shop or are interested in Volunteering a few hours a week please call or pop in.
