Meet our Supporter Relations Officer

Meet Lara Murphy, the Supporter Relations Officer at Dogs Trust Canterbury.

Lara the Supporter Relations Officer with Ruby the Whippet

Hello, I’m Lara Murphy and I’m the Supporter Relations Officer at Dogs Trust Canterbury. Before this, I was an Education Officer covering East London schools.

I enjoy meeting our supporters - either at the rehoming centre itself or when I am out and about. I offer free talks to community groups throughout Kent (with or without a four-legged friend) and also organise tours of the rehoming centre, as well as dealing with local enquiries about donations in memory of a loved one. I can also talk to you about the free Canine Care Card service and answer any legacy enquiries.

The annual Christmas Fair is also my responsibility, as well as attending the closest DogFest event to help with the Dogs Trust Village.

Aside from working with Dogs Trust, and sharing this passion with our supporters, I am also enthusiastic about fostering and adopting the ‘Golden Oldies’ - and love nothing better than spending time with them, during their retirement years.
