Are you right for Loki?

Meet Loki, our magnificent 4 year old Yugoslavian Shepherd! Loki is a massive softie who loves his trusted people, but can take his time to get to know you. Because of this, he will need 3 or more meets before adoption, but once he knows you he is the sweetest gentleman! Due to being a bit more worried, Loki would prefer all children in the home to be 11yrs+ and comfortable with bigger dogs. Loki has lived in a home with multiple other dogs before and loves playing with his doggy friends in our paddocks. For this reason he would love to be rehomed with a new doggy best friend (or two!) pending a successful meet and greet at our centre, as he really does gain a lot of confidence from other dogs. Ideally, Loki would like owners who are around a lot of the time, as he can struggle when he is left alone in new environments.

Is Loki right for you?

Loki is a wonderful boy who brings all his human friends so much joy and love! Even though he can be nervous in new environments, once he knows you he is just a big baby who thinks he is a lap dog! He is looking for a quiet home in a rural or suburban area with a nice big garden to run around in. His ideal family would be experienced with bigger dogs as although he walks well on the lead, he can pull now and again. Overall, Loki is a goofy, cuddly boy with his trusted people and will make his new family laugh every day!

When we find a match, we’ll invite you to meet them

If we’ve found a dog who seems right for you, we’ll invite you to come and meet them at the rehoming centre.

If we haven’t found the right match, we’ll continue the search together

If we haven’t found the right dog for you within three months, we’ll let you know your application is closed. We’ll invite you to apply again so we have up-to-date information about you, and we’ll keep looking.
