Nugget

I'm looking for my forever home. Could you be my perfect match?

Are you right for Nugget?

Nugget is a sweet young boy with lots of potential and a bright future ahead of him. He’s a clever boy who enjoys learning and quickly picks up new skills. Nugget can sometimes become a little overwhelmed or anxious, which has shown itself in some grabby behaviours. Because of this, he’ll need an understanding home that is happy to continue working on his training and helping him build confidence. The good news is that Nugget is very motivated by treats and toys, which makes positive training both fun and rewarding for him. Nugget could live with children aged 16 and over who are comfortable around energetic dogs and who would enjoy being involved in his ongoing training. He mixes well with other dogs and may be able to live with a canine companion in his new home, following a successful meet at the centre. As we don’t have any history for Nugget in a home environment, his adopters should be prepared to support him with housetraining and help him settle into a routine. Time spent alone should be introduced gradually so he can learn to feel relaxed and secure when his family is away.

Is Nugget right for you?

Nugget is looking for a home where he will have access to his own secure garden and where indoor spaces can be managed with baby gates to support his training and set him up for success. With patient, committed adopters who are ready to invest time and energy into his development, Nugget has so much to offer and is sure to grow into a wonderful companion.
