Are you right for Ronan?

Ronan is a sweet, sensitive boy who is still finding his feet after coming into our care as a stray. New people and unfamiliar situations can leave him feeling a little unsure, and he may appear conflicted at first. With patience, kindness, and time to settle, Ronan slowly begins to relax and show his true self, forming a lovely bond with those he learns to trust. He would be best suited to a calm home with sensible children aged 14 years and over who can understand his need for space and allow him to progress at his own pace. At the moment, Ronan will need to be the only dog in the home while his assessments with other dogs continue. As we don’t have any previous home history for him, he will need support with all the basics, including housetraining, and time left alone will need to be built up gradually. Ronan is very food motivated, which will be a great help when it comes to training, boosting his confidence, and strengthening the bond with his new family. With the right guidance and a gentle approach, Ronan has the potential to blossom into a loyal and rewarding companion.

Is Ronan right for you?

Ronan is looking for a patient forever family who can help build his confidence and show him life isn't so scary. He would benefit from adopters who can visit him here at the centre a few times before he's ready to head of home. With some time and patience, we know he'll blossom into a loving and affectionate companion.
