Are you right for Beauty?

Beauty is looking for a home with a special family that can help her overcome her abandonment. She needs to be the only dog at home and to live with just adults, as she has appeared worried by children at the centre. We have no history for her and can’t say for sure that she’s used to spending time alone or is house trained. Beauty is going to need all her basic training and a family that is committed to doing things at her pace.

Is Beauty right for you?

Beauty has been through a very stressful time recently and found centre life to be very difficult to get to grips with. After moving her to a quieter kennel she has settled very well and is noticeably happier. She’s a lively and friendly dog who likes a quiet life with her favourite people, and she has formed lovely bonds with her handlers very quickly. New people are quickly approved by Beauty if they have some titbits to offer her, and she does love to snuggle up close to people. Snacks will be the key to Beauty's training too. Although she will need to be the only pet in the home, Beauty would benefit from some sensible and controlled socialisation outside. Given some time to decompress, Beauty is a girl who loves to learn. She already knows some of her basic training and a cute trick or two but would benefit from continuing this to build her confidence and help her to settle. She has been thoroughly enjoying playing ball in our off-lead areas and has been wowing us all with her agility skills. If you enjoy active days and evenings snuggling on the sofa then Beauty could be just the pal you are looking for! With a little patience and understanding it shouldn't take long to see Beauty's fun-loving nature shine through. She is an active young lady and would love it if her new family were able to provide her with all the physical and mental stimulation she needs, and plenty of reassurance when she is feeling worried.
