Are you right for Piper?

Meet Piper! She is a bright, bouncy two‑year‑old sweetheart who’s ready to find a loving home where she can truly shine. She’s full of fun, eager to learn, and just needs the right people to help her grow into the wonderful companion she’s destined to be. Piper would thrive in a calm, patient household with adults or older teens (17+) who can give her the consistency and reassurance she needs. She’d love to be the only pet in the home so she can soak up all the attention for herself. Piper enjoys going for walks with her doggy pals and has a lovely time with familiar friends. She can get a little over‑excited when meeting new dogs, so she’ll benefit from someone confident who can guide her through those moments with kindness and structure. A home where someone is around for most of the day at first would suit her beautifully. With gentle guidance and plenty of positive experiences, she’ll blossom into the most loving companion.

Is Piper right for you?

Piper is a smart, curious girl who loves having her brain kept busy. Scent games, enrichment activities, and a predictable routine really help her shine. Once she’s built a bond with you, she becomes wonderfully affectionate — she adores curling up on the sofa for a cuddle and loves ending her day by snoozing at the bottom of the stairs, her favourite cosy spot. She enjoys all her training and is discovering that calm behaviour brings all the best rewards. Piper already knows a few basics like sit and paw, and she’d really benefit from ongoing, rewards‑based training to help her continue building confidence and skills. New experiences can feel a little daunting for her, but she’s making lovely progress. Slow introductions and positive associations make a big difference, and she’s done brilliantly with ‘Happy Vet Visits’. With time, choice, and consistency, she shows just how much confidence she can gain. Piper has moderate exercise needs and would enjoy a mix of quieter walks, fun mental stimulation, and plenty of cuddle time. If you’re ready to help a bright, sensitive dog feel safe and flourish, Piper could be the perfect girl to share your home, your heart, and of course — your snacks.
