Are you right for Merlin?

Meet lovely lad, Merlin! Merlin is a 3-year old Patterdale Terrier looking for his forever home. Merlin is looking for a home as an only dog, as he can find some dogs quite overwhelming. He generally prefers calmer, female dogs but can be vocal towards others. Merlin can be rehomed with older primary school aged children as he is a super sweet boy. He's instantly friendly with new people and he LOVES playing with his toys. Balls are his number one choice in toy, and enjoys a game of chase! Merlin is high energy and really enjoys getting out for his sniffy walks, taking in all the sights and smells! He loves to sleep on his people's bed at night, cosied up with a cuddle. He is a bit on the chubby side so any potential adopters would need to be willing to keep up his exercise and ensure he comes the lean, mean machine we know he can be (without the mean)! Merlin is your typical Patterdale, so he would love a home that are experienced with terriers and what to expect. He's such a fun little man, and we can't wait to see him curled up on his forever sofa!

Is Merlin right for you?

Merlin is a super handsome chap, who is full of beans! He may need some work being left on his own as he does find this a bit upsetting at first, so owners that are home for the majority of the day would be ideal. Merlin is fully house-trained, a super clean chap and he walks really well on lead! He can pull if there is something particularly exciting, but he tries his best to be the best of boys. He travels well in the car, but can sometimes bark at cars passing by if he's feeling a bit crazy. Merlin, quite clearly, loves his food and this will be a great tool in any training that is needed! He will be such a fun addition to the home.
