Are you right for Yoda?

Yoda is looking for a quiet and calm home with active adopters who can take him on lots of exploring, sniffy adventures in quieter walking areas and secure fields, who will advocate for his space when he needs and will give him all the love and attention he deserves. He likes his space so is looking for an adult only home with adopters who will give him space to rest and relax when he needs. Yoda can be frustrated by other dogs, so would need to be the only pet in his home, and ideally have quieter walking options that will allow him to explore without worrying about bumping into too many other furry companions! Because of this, Yoda will be going home on a lead disclaimer and his perfect adopters would be a family willing to work with him of his doggy interactions and build up positive experiences, which our behaviour team are on hand to help with. He has some training under his belt, his favourite trick is a meerkat stance, he is not super interested in training but is willing to engage if a tasty treat is on offer. He is looking for a home with a private, secure garden for him to potter about in and have off lead time. He can settle nicely in the home, so could be left for up to 4 hours, this should be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Yoda will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Is Yoda right for you?

Fun little guy Yoga is a 1 and a half year old Jack Russell Terrier who loves his food. He can be quite an independent boy and loves to go out on adventures, sniffing and exploring the great wide world. He does a great Meerkat impression, sitting on his bottom with his paws up in the air, but he only does it for a tasty treat, so make sure you have some handy. He does like a fuss on his terms and will sit beside you for a good back scratch before heading off on his own. This cool little dude is on the looking for his new home.
