Are you right for Finley?

Finley can live with children of primary school age but will need to be the only pet at home as he does not enjoy the company of other animals. He is house trained and can be left alone for an hour or two without issue.

Is Finley right for you?

Finley is a confident chap who is always happy to see his handlers and never says no to a walk. He can pull on his lead but given his size it's not really a problem however, his adopters must be sure they're OK with his strength, and ideally put in some loose lead training too. Fin loves a fuss and is affectionate in return, is pretty chilled out when being groomed. He really is not a fan of other dogs and in his previous home he did bite at least three others after they approached him, despite his owner asking people not to bring their dogs by him. He will react and bark at others, sometimes lunging, and his new family will need to be aware of their surroundings at all times, and potentially train Finley to wear a muzzle for his walks. He has some nice calm interactions at the centre but they are obviously properly controlled. Finley will not be suited to walks in heavy dog populated areas and will need to be kept on lead for all his walks. We have already begun his muzzle training and will expect adopters to continue.
